I have held many different positions in the field, ranging from teaching Preschool, owning my own childcare, and directing large centers. In 2007 I completed my Early Childhood Education Certificate. I will be returning to school soon to continue my education in Early Learning. My passions outside of work include spending time with my family, reading, and playing the piano.     <p><!--block-->Melanie is married and a proud mother of three; she is very involved in her kids sports and activities. She is an experienced toddler classroom teacher and has over 12 years in the childcare field. Melanie has her child development associate degree as well as numerous certificates in early childhood education. Currently, Melanie is a student at YVCC pursuing her AAS-T degree in Early Childhood Education, which she will be finishing soon. Following her AAS-T she will pursue her bachelor's of art in children's studies. Even with a busy home and school schedule, Melanie puts her heart and soul into teaching her class. Two of Melanie's favorite teachers quotes are:&nbsp; "Teaching is not just a job, to me, it is my Life, if you see it as just a job, your heart is not in it" and "You will always stand taller when you kneel to help a child!".</p>

    Ms. Darcee has eight years of experience in caring for children and started with KinderCare in February 2013. She has completed one year of Early Childhood Education credits and continues her professional record through yearly STARS courses. Ms.&nbsp;Darcee loves to see children grow and captures each and every "teachable moment". She enjoys watching the excitement in their eyes as they learn new things. Ms. Darcee is a team player and has shared her skills in our Infant Classroom, Preschool Classroom and currently our Toddler Classroom. Ms. Darcee loves her job and her students love her!

    <p><!--block-->Ms. Veronica has 24 years of experience and started with KinderCare in August 1997. She has completed her child development associate credential, one year of early childhood education credits at Yakima Valley Community College and continues yearly STARS courses. Ms. Veronica also supports the team as the Health &amp; Safety Coordinator. Ms. Veronica enjoys teaching children to further explore their surroundings and reach personal milestones. She find happiness in the stories children tell about what they learn each day. She is dedicated to her families and is always willing to lend a helping hand for the team.
